SETTING FUTURES IN MOTION

One empowered young person at a time

Rebuilding Futures. Re-engaging Youth. Reimagining What’s Possible.

Too many young people are being left behind.

JET Futures supports young people aged 16–25 who are economically inactive and facing barriers such as trauma, low motivation, or care experience.

Not just another programme. A whole new approach

About JET Futures

JET Futures is a Community Interest Company based in London,

designed with young people to do things differently.

We’ve developed a whole new approach, working with young people to create solutions that reflect their real experiences, needs, and goals.

Our Pathways to Empowerment programmes support young people aged 16–25 who are not in education, employment, or training. Many face barriers like trauma, anxiety, or social exclusion. We meet young people where they are, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and take steps towards independence.

Aligned with the UK government’s NEET re-engagement and skills strategy, our work bridges the gap between personal growth and employer expectations, creating pathways to long-term success.

Our Programme

Our pilot programme, Financial Empowerment, helps young people become both work-ready and life-ready.

It combines a practical, youth-focused personal development and financial literacy course with Motivational Interviewing coaching sessions, tailored to build confidence, shift limiting beliefs, and increase motivation for change.

How it Works

Our programme is a 6-week, blended experience, combining self-paced learning, group sessions, and 1:1 coaching. It’s co-designed with young people, ensuring the structure, content, and delivery are relevant, engaging, and rooted in real-life experiences.

It is structured to make learning practical, personal, and empowering, with a weekly cycle designed to build skills step by step.

Pre-Learning
A live group session to warm up the mind and build trust.

  • Activates curiosity through check-ins and reflection

  • Creates a safe space for peer connection

  • Introduces the weekly theme in a gentle, accessible way

Independent Learning
Self-paced, flexible learning with bite-sized content:

  1. Understand the Problem – Connect the theme to real life

  2. Learn the Tool – Practical strategies for action

  3. Apply & Reflect – Personalise learning and prepare for group work

Workshop
A live session to deepen learning and build confidence.

  • Reinforces key concepts through discussion and games

  • Encourages peer-to-peer learning and shared experiences

  • Applies knowledge to real-life scenarios

  • Builds resilience, celebrates progress, and bridges to next steps

  • Guest speaker employed at Microsoft or Bloomberg at the last workshop
